Auditions

The Chorale conducts auditions twice each year for new singers. The next auditions will be held Tuesday May 26, (2009) and Wed May 27, (2009) beginning 6:30 pm.  Another audition will be held on Wed Aug 12, (2009) at 6:30 pm.   They are held in the Choral Room in the Moss Performing Arts Center at Mesa State College. Auditions are done privately with Dr. Atkinson and a Chorale board member in attendance.  You should bring the music to one piece that you would like to sing.

The Chorale rehearses on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9 pm. We perform 3 to 4 concerts each year. One is with the Grand Junction Symphony as part of their season. Another is our annual Christmas Concert which usually includes unusual carols mixed with readings and some traditional Christmas Carols. A third is a masterworks performance accompanied by the GJ Symphony Chamber orchestra.

Concert dress is tuxedos for men and specific evening dress gowns for women.
